When you call us for a repair, you're hiring the same operation that also does $2 million custom builds.
Why licensed matters for small jobs
Most handymen aren't licensed contractors. Florida law is specific about what an unlicensed handyman can legally do — small cosmetic work, basically. The moment a job requires a permit (structural change, most electrical work, most plumbing, anything involving the building envelope), an unlicensed handyman is out of scope. What tends to happen: they either do the work anyway (which is illegal and voids your insurance), or they abandon the job mid-scope and you're left finding a licensed contractor with a Tuesday-afternoon opening.

What size jobs do you take?
Anything from a single repair to a punch list of a dozen items. Most small jobs run half-day to full-day. Grouped scopes go multi-day. If a job turns out to be bigger than 'small' — a bathroom remodel, a room addition — we hand it internally to Revolution Contractors, no separate qualification process.
How much do small jobs cost?
Most single handyman repairs run $150 to $500. Grouped punch lists and small construction scopes typically run $500 to $3,000. Billing rate is $75 an hour with a one-hour minimum. You get a written price before any work starts.
How fast can you get here?
We respond to every request within 2 hours during business hours. Most jobs are scheduled within 2 to 3 days of first contact, depending on scope and calendar. Half-day scopes often get booked same-week.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Florida CRC1331628 (Certified Residential Contractor) and CGC1522463 (Certified General Contractor), with general liability and workers' compensation carried through Revolution Contractors LLC. Certificate of insurance available for HOA and property-management portals.
What areas do you cover?
St. Petersburg core, all of Pinellas County within reasonable drive time, and out into Clearwater when the job justifies it. Downtown St. Pete, Old Northeast, Snell Isle, Shore Acres, Gulfport, South Pasadena, Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, Seminole, Largo, and Clearwater are our most-consistent neighborhoods.

If we need to see it in person for hidden framing or historic-review reasons, we tell you and schedule a look at no charge.
What if the job turns out to be bigger than I thought?
That's actually a common scenario, and it's why being a licensed general contractor matters here. If we open a wall on a small drywall patch and find rot or a missing header, we stop, show you, and give you a written change-order before continuing. If the whole scope now belongs on the Revolution side — a real remodel — we hand it internally with no re-qualification. Same shop, different lane.
